We have been enjoying Marco Island since 1971 when Mike's grandparents, Tom and Grace Flynn bought a home while the Mackles were just building out the island. After years of visiting and a home purchased by Mike's parents in 2010, Mike and Barb purchased 1883 Calusa in 2020. The home had great bones, but needed some TLC.

In the first year of ownership, 2021- major renovations have been completed including: A new pool cage, all new flooring, new kitchen and appliances, painting, new and upgraded bathrooms, and a whole new style. We have also included amenities to enjoy your time here- kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and cart, etc.

The results are wonderful and have made our second home a great place to visit and live.
What we love about Marco Island...
Every time our car crests the top of the Jolley Bridge, I feel the weight of everyday life lift from my shoulders and I know I am home. Every bit of Marco Island makes me happy, whether it is fishing in backwaters, enjoying a cold beverage at The Little Bar or walking on the beautiful 5 mile beach. It is all so special. And everyone knows it, everywhere you go - there are smiling faces, all enjoying their time in Paradise.
